David Gehman, 64, Reading, experienced a medical episode that led to an eight-vehicle crash in the parking lot of the Red Robin in Tilden Township on Dec. 27.
At 2:38 p.m., Gehman was backing out of a parking spot in the Red Robin parking lot when he experienced a medical episode. His vehicle struck seven parked vehicles in the parking lot, of which two sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene, according to State Police.
No injuries were reported. Gehman was transported to an area hospital for evaluation as a precaution.
Hamburg EMS and Hamburg Fire Department assisted at the scene.
