A 50-foot section of the facade and overhang of the Giant Food and Drug Store on Route 100 at Holly Drive in Douglass (Mont.) partially collapsed under the weight of heavy snow Sunday evening. Officials from the township and Gilbertsville Fire Company checked the scene for structural damage and blocked off one of two entrances to the market, allowing the store to remain open.

A 50-foot section of the facade and overhang of the Giant Food and Drug Store on Route 100 at Holly Drive in Douglass (Mont.) partially collapsed under the weight of heavy snow Sunday evening. Officials from the township and Gilbertsville Fire Company checked the scene for structural damage and blocked off one of two entrances to the market while crews removed debris and cleared snow from the roof. The store remained open during the clean up effort.
