January is School Board Recognition Month, and in honor of their own school board, the third graders at Willow Creek Elementary School visited the Fleetwood Area School District’s monthly school board meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 7 p.m., to offer a special performance.

Decked out in school-spirited attire, the students gave their performance, which featured a special musical piece with the kids showcasing what they have been learning on the recorder in music class.

The students are taught and led by the elementary-wide general music teacher, Mr. Scott Troxell.
