TEG Auction Gallery in Morgantown will be hosting TVMS Parent Involvement Council Winter Benefit Auction Night, a live auction at 6 p.m. on Feb. 26 to benefit Twin Valley Middle School students.

“One hundred percent of the revenue that the auction is going to make is going to the Twin Valley Middle School Parent Involvement Council,” said Lynne Franz of TEG Auction Gallery. “They need funds for extra activities and things they need for the classroom.”

Funds will go toward field trips, classroom technology, clubs, socials, classroom mini grants, scholarships, and more.

This is the first year TEG Auction Services is hosting the benefit auction.

“We’re very excited to do this for them,” said Lynne.

The benefit auction will be held at TEG Auction Gallery, in the Clock Tower Plaza, 2846 Main Street, Building B, Morgantown. Guest teachers will appear to help auction off items. Food and refreshments will be served.

TEG still needs donated items from businesses and community members.

“Things they don’t want anymore that we can turn into cash that can benefit the students,” said Lynne.

Accepted donations include antiques, primitives, home decor, art, furniture, collectible toys and games, Lenox, crystal, glass and china sets, pottery, quilts, jewelry, electronics, gift baskets, figurines, gift certificates, crocks and jugs, automobiles, farm and garden equipment, coins, trains and train sets, sports collectibles, sculptures and other unique items.

TEG cannot accept common glassware, chipped or cracked or broken items, box springs and mattresses, entertainment armoire, CRT (old style TV), non working items, artificial floral arrangements, faux plants and clothing.

Drop off donations until Feb. 18 at TEG Auction Gallery at Clock Tower Plaza, 2846 Main Street, Building 10 B, Morgantown. Donors are asked not to drop off donations at TVMS. Day, evening and drop off times are available. Call Lynne Franz at 484-798-8401 or TEG Auction Gallery at 610-340-4714 to schedule a drop off time.
