Do you want to make a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable and underrepresented children living in foster care? Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Berks County invites you to attend their upcoming informational sessions to learn how CASA makes a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children of Berks County. A CASA is a trained community member, appointed by a judge, to represent the best interest of a child in court.

The impact that CASA volunteers make on children in foster care is substantial. Children with a CASA volunteer are more likely to find a safe and permanent home, spend less time in foster care, do better in school and receive more services while in the foster care system. If you want to make a child’s voice heard, the first step is attending one of our informational sessions.

Sessions will be held Wednesday, Feb. 10 from 6 to 7 p.m.; Tuesday, March 15 from 6 to 7 p.m.; and Wednesday, April 13 from 12 to 1 p.m. and from 6 to 7 p.m.

The informational sessions will be hosted at the CASA of Berks County Office, 845 Park Road, Suite 307, Wyomissing. If interested in attending or to learn more about CASA, please contact Ashley Frank by e-mailing Ashley@CASABerks.org or calling 610-301-8634.
