State Police Reading are investigating a Jan. 29 fire at 41 Elm Ave., The Village at Pleasant Hills in Tilden Township.
According to State Police, at 6:50 a.m., “Fire crews responded to suppress a structure that was mostly consumed by fire upon arrival. Several propane tanks were venting and exploding as the efforts took place.”
Police report that crews were able to suppress the fire and save nearby structures. The trailer has been abandoned for about one year.
Total loss is estimated to be about $25,000.
“The investigation was unable to provide any definite origin and cause results,” according to police.
