With just under two months left before the opening the night, the cast of “Mary Poppins” is hard at work. Working around concerts, various sports practices and other music commitments, the students have been working diligently to memorize lines and learn the challenging choreography.
On a recent Saturday morning, cast members gathered to rehearse one of the show’s signature numbers, the tongue-twisting “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.” Not only must this tongue-twister of a word be pronounced forward and backward, but the choreography also the students using their limbs to spell it out at a frantic pace.
