The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Storm warning for the Philadelphia region starting at midnight Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday. The Winter Storm Warning includes the following counties:

– Delaware- Chester- Montgomery

– BucksDelaware and Chester counties are expected to get snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches and Montgomery and Bucks counties are expected to get snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches.

According to NWS, snow is expected to develop late Monday evening and overnight, then continue through Tuesday night. There is potential for the snow to fall at a moderate to heavy rate at times during the day and at night.

The NWS says accumulating snow will travel late Monday night through Tuesday night, including the rush hour commutes. Road conditions are expected to deteriorate during times of heavier snowfall rates.
