Tamans is pleased to announce their launch in Pottstown in collaboration with Pottstown YMCA. Tamans is a 21st century online and mobile marketplace where anyone can purchase delicious, healthy, local and fresh foods straight from the area’s farmers. The people of Pottstown and surrounding areas can now enjoy a great array of seasonal farm foods all year round conveniently.
Quality seasonal fruits, mushrooms, meats, eggs, yogurt, kefir, bread, baked goods, soups, vegetables and more will be offered. Most items are organically or sustainably produced. Dairy products come from pastured dairy. Meats and eggs came from two pastured farms. All baked goods and soups are made from scratch without any preservatives or artificial colorings.
Once the healthy grocery orders are placed, buyers can pick up their orders at convenient locations that they will be at already, such as the Pottstown YMCA. More locations will be added in the near future. Food prices are set to be comparable with same grade items in major supermarkets in the area. Tamans currently accepts all major credit cards with the thought of adding PayPal in the future. Buyers and subscribers to Tamans’ newsletter will receive weekly healthy recipes, health tips, coupon codes, new pick-up site announcements and more.
