Three suspects have been identified and are being questioned in the stabbing of a 22-year-old Kutztown University student, Kutztown Borough Police said Sunday. The student was stabbed in the neck and ribs during an altercation at the rear of 81 Noble St., near Stimmel Alley, in Kutztown, at about 12:45 a.m. on Feb. 20.

The victim was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, where he is listed in serious condition.

Police thanked those who gave information leading to the three suspects. Now police want to speak to the several witnesses who have not yet come forward.

Any arrests are anticipated at a later date once the investigation is completed. Police do not believe there is a threat to anyone else at this time and say this was an isolated incident, police said.
