The Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles will host another Diner Day in its restored Reading Diner, a 1938 Jerry O’Mahony prefabricated diner once part of Fegely’s Family Restaurant.
On Saturday, March 22, with regular admission visitors can purchase pie and coffee at 1940s prices of 5 cent? coffee and 25? cent pie. Visitors will also be allowed to eat in the diner itself. Pie and coffee will be available for sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Diner themed merchandise will also be available for purchase.
The Museum held a Diner Day just a few months ago, in November 2013, with great success. Due to popular demand, the Boyertown Museum is holding another Diner Day. This is a family-friendly event, and milk and hot chocolate will be available for children.
Visitors will also get a chance to catch the Museum’s temporary exhibit, One Hit Wonders of the Road, in its final days. This exhibit, which features unique, single production custom cars, will end on March 30.
The Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:30 am -4 pm and is closed on Mondays.
