Antique aficionados are invited to uncover their hidden treasures by attending A “Faire” Appraisal at Schwarzwald United Church of Christ on Saturday, April 2, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Industry professionals will be on site to view and discuss antiques, yard sale finds, and collectibles owned by individuals.

An all-star team of guest appraisers including Mr. Bill Howze, Mr. Chris Papadakis, Ms. Valerie Malmberg, Mr. James Gibson, Mr. Phil Wesel, and Ms. Kathy Lesieur are qualified to assess a wide range of items and encourage guests to bring any assortment of antiques or collectibles including (but not limited to) toys, advertising, glassware, art, military items, and furniture.

Participants may have up to three items evaluated for $20 and additional items are $5/each. The BCTV film crew will be on site to capture the day’s most interesting conversations. Spectators are welcome at no charge!

George M. Meiser IX, Berks County historian and event committee member says, “A Faire Appraisal Day promises to satisfy curiosity, entertain, educate, and benefit BCTV, a winning four-some!”

Schwarzwald UCC is located at 75 Church Lane Road, Reading, PA 19606. Evaluations will be conducted on a first come, first serve basis. No registration required, no reservations accepted. All proceeds benefit BCTV.
