Make sure your calendar is cleared to celebrate small town life at Livingood Park on Saturday, June 25. One of the Borough’s most significant events, Elverson Day at the Park, provides a fun (and free) evening for all ages.

This year’s celebration will feature many past favorites, including pony rides and a petting zoo for the children, and will wrap up with the traditional highlights: a concert by the Chester County Band and an exceptional fireworks display.

However, we are excited to host a few new events as well. Children will love our “Touch a Truck” station, where they can explore machines owned by local businesses. Or, if you have ever been tempted to consider small town living a bit humdrum, enjoy a whole new view of the Greatest Square Mile from a hot air balloon. If heights aren’t your thing, then consider joining our first annual knockerball game, or grab a barbecue sandwich and an ice cream cone from one of the several new food trucks we will be hosting.

The past success of Elverson Day has been largely due to the generous contributions by local businesses, which make possible events like those listed above. Would your business consider sponsoring an activity or giving towards the fireworks? Besides your company name being listed in our program and announced by our MC, we’ll offer publicity for your business on our event Facebook page.

If interested in giving toward Elverson’s favorite summer evening, contact event Chairperson Esther Prosser at esther@stoltzfus.com or 484-269-7153.

We look forward to seeing you in the Park!
