LIVE at 7:30 p.m.: Bernie Sanders to make appearance in Montgomery County on April 21

OAKS >> Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will be making a campaign appearance in Montgomery County today at a rally in Oaks.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, 100 Station Ave., at 7:30 p.m., according to the Bernie Sanders website. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. RSVPs are strongly recommended and admission is first come, first served.

According to the event page on the website, attendees are asked to not bring bags and limit what you bring to small, personal items like keys and cell phones. Weapons, sharp objects, chairs, and signs or banners will not be allowed through security.

Limited free parking will be available onsite and carpooling and public transportation is strongly encouraged.

The event is part of a two-day swing through Pennsylvania for Sanders, which includes rallies in Scranton, Reading, Gettysburg and Millersville.
