Albright College’s fashion designers and merchandisers will host a high-energy fashion showcase on Saturday, May 7.

An exhibition of student work will begin at 4 p.m., in the College’s Roop Hall, followed by the runway show at 5:30 p.m., in the Wachovia Theatre. The event is open to the public.

The VIP ticket includes reserved seating and a private reception in the Freedman Gallery following the runway show. All other seating is general admission.

The exhibition will include fashion illustrations, computer-aided designs, fall trend reports and marketing and business plans. The runway show will highlight a variety of student-created looks, from ready-to-wear to formal and bridal wear.

Awards will be presented during the fashion showcase for Best Exhibit and Best Design. A new Friends of the Department Award will be presented to the Reading-based G.K.
