Shartlesville Lions Club president Bob Argot welcomed the club’s newest member, Wesley Raup-Konsavage upon having inducted him. The club is growing and is anticipating its next major event, a chicken barbecue on May 14. The meal offered includes a chicken half and a baked potato. It is being held at the Shartlesville Township Park on 4th Street from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will benefit the club’s outreach programs.
