The Reading Public Library will hold a series of Summer Job Readiness Workshops for teens during the month of May. Each workshop, sponsored by the PA Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Teen Library Loft of the Main Library, 100 S. 5th Street.
Topics and dates are as follows:
On Tuesday, May 17, create a resume from scratch or improve your existing one.
On Tuesday, May 24, put the finishing touches on your resume.
On Tuesday May 31, learn what to say and what to wear to an interview, and received personalized tips following a practice interview.
Each participant will receive a flash drive and folder compliments of the RPL Teen Loft. The workshops are free of charge, and registration is required for each workshop. To register, stop by or call 610-655-6350 ext. 241.
