What could be better than running through colors alongside family and friends?

The Governor Mifflin Middle School Parents Advisory Council will be holding its annual Color Me Mifflin Fun Run on Saturday, May 14. The rain date is Sunday, May 15.

The event begins at 10 a.m. at Shillington Park. The cost is $25 for adults and $20 for students, unless preregistered by April 27.

Participants will be running or walking while being showered by bright colored powder. The course is two miles and all ages are welcome. Dogs are not permitted to participate.

All of the proceeds will be used by the PAC to support programs at Governor Mifflin. The event has raised more than $16,000 since its inception in 2014.

Organizers recommend wearing white clothing so the bright colors will come through. It’s also recommended to bring a towel or some plastic bags for the travel home.
