A free presentation entitled “Bullies,” led by Valley Township Police Chief Joe Friel, will be held on Saturday, May 21 at 1 p.m. at Cedar Grove Presbyterian Church. This presentation is open to the public.
The bullying presentation will introduce participants to what bullying is and will provide them with tips to manage bullying in their communities. It will further help participants to recognize when bullying is taking place against ourselves or our own family members. The presentation will cover the following objectives: various bullying behaviors; the scope of the bullying problem; who bullies; the warning signs that a child is being bullied; strategies children can use to deal with bullying; and steps adults can take to address bullying.
