On May 13, Hamburg Police reported that at 2:30 a.m. a traffic stop was conducted in the area of State Street and Front Street.
The driver, Courtney Schlight, age 25, of Oley, was taken into custody for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence.
Charges are pending the results of a blood test.
Car window smashed on Pine Street
Hamburg Police reported that on May 14, at approximately 7:10 a.m., an incident of vandalism was reported.
The incident occurred the night of May 14 in the 300 block of Pine Street. The victim, Linda Miller, age 61, of Hamburg, discovered that her vehicle window had been smashed overnight.
This incident is currently under investigation.
Leesport man arrested on suspicion of DUI
On May 14, at approximately 2:45 a.m., Hamburg Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of S. 4th Street and Hawk Ridge Drive.
The driver, Brian Biszmaier, age 21, of Leesport, was taken into custody for suspected Driving Under the Influence.
Charges are pending the results of a blood test.
Hamburg man arrested for PFA violation
On May 14 at approximately 6:01 p.m., Hamburg Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of N. 5th Street.
Jason Schaeffer, age 34, of Hamburg, was arrested for violation of a Protection from Abuse Order held by Jessica Pike, age 29, of Hamburg.
