On Friday, April 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturday, April 30 from 9:30 to 2 p.m., the Kutztown Community Library hosted a successful Book Sale event. The book sale included a Fill-a-Bag Sale on Saturday.
The library estimated that at least 100 to 150 people came to the Book Sale. Thirty-eight donated Weis bags filled with books were purchased as part of the Fill-a-Bag Sale, as well as 12 bags that were brought by attendees.
With the individual books purchased, as well as sales from the Fill-a-Bag special, the Friends of the Kutztown Community Library made approximately $650 to $700 from the event.
