Washington Twp. >> Eastern Berks Fire Department and Bally Ambulance were dispatched at 6:14 a.m. Sunday, May 22, 2016, for the report of a vehicle crashing in to a tree on Forgedale Road in Washington Township, Berks County.
Eastern Berks Fire Department Chief Mike Mutter arrived on the scene and the vehicle over the embankment and one person injured. EMS arrived and packaged the patient at the wreck site and firefighters formed a chain to lift the victim up from the site onto the roadway. Patient was transported to a local hospital.
