Real estate agent Melissa Newkirk has found her “career home” in recently joining the Morgantown branch of Richard A. Zuber Realty. Newkirk is eager to assist her clients in matching their unique needs with a home that meets those needs and in locating a mortgage lender that offers programs that fit their circumstances.
“I love happy endings,” Newkirk said. “I enjoy the problem solving aspect of making my clients’ dreams of owning their own home come true.”
Along with six years of experience as a real estate agent, Newkirk brings knowledge and experience from 15 years in the billing departments of banking to assist buyers.
“I know what credit scores mortgage lenders are approving,” she said. “I can knowledgeably counsel my clients in the steps to take toward securing mortgage approval. Plus, I am aware that different banks offer different programs with differing criteria for approval. This awareness allows me to connect clients with the mortgage lenders that will serve them best.”
Potential clients will also benefit from Newkirk’s active use of social media. With a wide network of friends on her Facebook page, “Pa Real Estate For Sale/Rent,” and frequent posts on Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat, Newkirk reaches out to the public to announce Open Houses, new listings, available properties and special features or pricing.
Newkirk’s passion for real estate began as a child while accompanying her grandfather, also a realtor, in preparing and showcasing homes that were up for sale. In reviving that long ago interest, Newkirk was attracted to Zuber Realty as a privately-owned company, its close-knit, family-oriented organizational approach and the breadth of the organization’s reach through five branches allowing her to help her clients negotiate the oft times confusing aspects of buying and selling real estate.
