Fleetwood Girl Scout Senior Troop 1684 put up blue ribbons in Fleetwood, supplied by Mayor Tammy Gore. Members of the Fleetwood Police Department greeted the girls as they began putting the ribbons out on signs and poles in the borough. Ribbons were placed on Richmond Street from the high school up to West Main Street, then along both sides of West Main Street from Franklin Street to the Fleetwood Park. It was estimated that the girls put up more than 80 ribbons.
