The sixth annual Kutztown University Summer Chamber Music Festival, under the Direction of Maria Asteriadou, is pleased to announce Sunset Spectacular, it’s first ever performance at the Kutztown Park bandshell on Wednesday, June 29 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Various solos, duets, trios, and quartets comprised of Kutztown University faculty members and students will perform a variety of music from classical, show tunes to popular songs. Presenting a fusion of popular and classical favorites with selections including Gershwin’s “Sumertime,” Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons,” Mozart’s “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik,” Brahm’s “Hungarian Dance No. 5,” John Williams “Theme from Star Wars” and AC/DC’s “Back in Black”, among others, the concert will feature performances by some of the festivals most talented students.
Bring a picnic basket, relax, and experience some of the world’s most beloved music at sunset in a beautiful open-air setting at the Kutztown Park Bandshell.
The concert, held rain or shine, is free to the public and was just added to the Borough of Kutztown 2016 Concert Series in the Park.
