Back by popular demand, The 60’s Boys take the stage on Saturday night, June 25 from 7 to 9:15 p.m., as part of the Borough of Kutztown’s “2016 Concert Series in the Park.” The sounds of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s will come alive as The 60’s Boys, under the leadership of Sam Alonge, bring their unique showmanship and vocals to the stage. This high energy act has been delighting audiences since 2011, and previously performed under the name “The Mudflaps” for 30 years prior.

The 60’s Boys bring to the stage a vast array of musical and vocal talent that will have your feet tapping and your hips swaying, shaking, rattling and rolling! The full sounding oldies band complete with horn section, guitars, drums and lead vocalist will deliver a high quality vocal and instrumental show.

The 60’s Boys entertain audiences recreating the hits made famous by the likes of Elvis, The Blues Brothers, Frankie Vali and the Four Seasons, The Beach Boys, Roy Orbison, The Righteous Brothers, Chuck Berry, Chubby Checker, The Platters, Jay Black and the Americans and many other household names and hits of that era.

The band has become very popular, as they bring their style and entertainment reminiscent of the great tribute bands and dance and sing to some of the most popular and memorable hits and classics. If you recall the great sounds of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, you grew up in that era, like that style music or just need an entertaining night out, this is a must see concert. Come early, get good seats and bring the family, and get ready for a great time, great music and a trip down memory lane as The 60’s Boys take you to a bygone era when the sounds of the Twist, the Mashed Potato, and the Bristol Stomp could be heard on street corners and at sock hops, and when poodle skirts and muscle cars were in.
