Calling all golfers! Registration is now underway for the Fifth Annual Madeline Degville Memorial Golf Tournament to be held Monday, July 18 at the Broad Run Golfers Club, located at 1520 Tattersall Way in West Chester. Proceeds from the event benefit The Crime Victims’ Center of Chester County, Inc. (CVC). In past tournaments, more than 60 golfers participated. We’re hoping to exceed that total this year, so sign up now! Broad Run is a great course and the tournament is for a great cause!

The tournament – a Four-Person Scramble, 18 holes – will begin with a 9 a.m. Shotgun Start. Lunch will be served following the tournament as the golfers return to the club house. There will be First, Second and Third Place Prizes, as well as prizes for Closest to Pin, Longest Drive and “Beat the Pro” awarded at the conclusion of the tournament. In addition, there will be a 50/50 raffle for the tournament participants.

Entries are due by Monday, July 1. The entry fee includes the greens fee, a cart with GPS and lunch. Checks should be made payable to CVC. For further details on the event or to reserve a space or a foursome, please contact Beth at CVC, at 610-692-1926.

Hole, Tournament and Prize Sponsorships are also available. Please call the CVC office to inquire about the costs.

The Tournament was established six years ago by the Family Martial Arts Center in Downingtown in memory of local teen Madeline Degville, a student at the Center.
