Fleetwood Girl Scout Brownie Troop 1956 was recently joined by Junior Troop 1811 for a fun night of earning the Brownie Girl Scout Way badge.
The Junior girls taught the Brownie girls some traditional Girl Scout songs like “D-I-S-C-O,” “Boom Chicka Boom” and a traditional Girl Scout Camp Mosey Wood closing song for celebrations and meetings.
The older girls helped the younger girls to make sit-upons. Sit-upons are traditional Girl Scout seats for outdoors, which are made of a plastic covering over a soft inside fill. The Brownies were taught ways to clean up after themselves and their environment.
The night ended with a small badge ceremony and the girls received their prizes they earned by selling Girl Scout cookies.
