Are you interested in a career with animals? Do you want to learn more about animals, their care and more?
You can explore for the 2016 4-H Veterinary Science Day Camp. Topics will include basic animal care concepts as well as emerging issues in biomedical research and food safety. The activities planned include: identifying different breeds of animals, animal behavior, describing different roles of animals, basic animal care, life stages of animals and making your home safe for pets. This will be hands on designed for youth 10 and older.
4-H Veterinary Science Students will have opportunities to present program accomplishments at the 2016 Chester County 4-H Fair. Participants will be encouraged to speak in front of their peers, create story boards about their experiences and to demonstrate skills gained during the program.
The Veterinary Science Day Camp is scheduled for July 18 to 22. The camp with operate between 1 and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday at the Romano 4-H Center of Chester County located at 1841 Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook. There is a cost involved.
