The humidity was high and so were the high fives in another exciting summer bocce tournament at the Honey Brook Borough courts on July 16.
Teams were randomly drawn and some selected a patriotic theme name. In the end, there was “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” as The Constitutions prevailed and took first place.
Second and third went to the Pink Flamingos and the Random Rollers, lesser known patriotic references. But the excellent shots and close games had everyone feeling like patriots.
The next tournament is in September, and you must sign up as a team of four. Contact the Honey Brook Borough for more information.
