On July 20 at 2:40 a.m., State Police from the Hamburg station were called to the Wal-Mart parking lot, 1800 Tilden Ridge Drive, in Tilden Township, for an unresponsive male behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Aveo.
Upon arrival, Troopers managed to arouse the operator prior to EMS arrival. Austin Kershner, age 20, of Shoemakersville, was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
Kershner was arrested for DUI. A blood draw showed marijuana and methamphetamine in his system.
Charges have been filed.
