Aldo Leopold Education Project: Friday, July 29, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Teacher workshop for all grade levels that will focus on conservation education based on Aldo Leopold’s writing and principles. There is a nominal fee.

Green Fire – Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for Our Time: Friday, July 29, 6-7:30 p.m. Free. Screening of the Emmy Award winning documentary followed by light refreshments and discussion.

Wee Ones Walk: Wednesday, Aug. 3, 10-11:30 a.m. Free for members, nominal fee for non-members. Program designed for ages 3-5 with story, craft and walk.

Berks Encore Annual Summer Picnic: at The Highlands at Wyomissing, 2000 Cambridge Ave., Wyomissing. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Open to anyone over age of 50. Tickets can be purchased at any Berks Encore location. Ticket includes breakfast of pastries and coffee, and full catered lunch. Entertainment by Conlan Kerschner. 2nd Annual Kutztown Kruizz: including classic muscle cars, motorcycles, military vehicles and more. Proceeds benefit Kutztown Strong, community group committed to combatting substance abuse. Registration from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by car display and Main Street events from 12-5 p.m. After break for dinner, The Fabulous Greaseband performs in Kutztown Park Bandshell at 7 p.m. with a car-related movie in the park at 9 p.m.

Huff’s Church Clambake Orders: are due TODAY. The clambake will be held Aug. 6, 5-6 p.m. Bake includes a dozen clams, chicken leg or breast meat, potatoes, corn on the cob, carrot, onion, beverage and dessert.
