Pediatrician Sheila Aseto-Rhoden, DO, MS, has joined Conventry Pediatrics in Pottstown. Dr. Aseto-Rhoden recently completed a pediatric internship and residency at Children’s Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. She received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013.
Dr. Aseto-Rhoden says that her goal in treating patients is to “care for every child as if he or she were her own child.”
“I chose to specialize in pediatrics because I have a huge heart for children,” she said. “They are a unique population, often unable to advocate for themselves, and as a physician, I feel that being a child advocate is an important part of my job.”
One of Dr. Aseto-Rhoden’s special interests is caring for patients with asthma.
