On July 18, Tompkins VIST Bank announced that Frank Strunk, of Sanatoga, has joined the bank as commercial lending relationship manager supporting the new Pottstown branch. Strunk’s responsibilities include providing conventional and SBA loans and other personalized banking solutions to business customers in the Pottstown and TriCounty areas.

Strunk has more than 45 years experience as a commercial relationship manager, most previously serving as senior vice president and commercial business team leader at National Penn Bank. He is a graduate of the Commercial Lending School at the University of Oklahoma; the Banking School at Bucknell University; and the Dunn & Bradstreet program for Credit and Financial analysts.

Active in the community, he is a board member of the Tri-County Chamber of Commerce; past president and current member of the Rotary Club of Pottstown; President of Vietnam Veterans Chapter 565; and Executive Chairperson for Montgomery County Youth AID Panel-Pottstown/Pottsgrove.

“Frank is a veteran banker who has worked for more than 45 years building business relationships in the TriCounty area,” said President and CEO Scott Gruber. “We know he will demonstrate the kind of commitment to customers Tompkins VIST Bank is known for.”

The new branch offers a full range of consumer and business services. The location also has representatives of Tompkins Insurance for the convenience of customers interested in affiliated financial services.
