The following local students were awarded degrees from Cabrini College, now Cabrini University, at its 56th Commencement on Sunday, May 22. Cabrini officially became a University on July 1, making the Class of 2016 the last graduates of the College. Graduates are:
Lidie Dawson, of Birdsboro, graduated with distinction with a Master of Education in Education.
Jared Weidner of Birdsboro, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design.
Bradley Byers, of Glenmoore, graduated with distinction with a Master of Accounting in Accounting.
Paige Smedley, of Honey Brook, graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Social Work in Social Work.
Hannah Schweikert, of Morgantown, graduated with distinction with a Master of Education in Education.
The following local students earned academic honors:
Chad Xiong, of East Earl, was named to the President’s List.
Peter Yarnall, of Glenmoore, was named to the President’s List.
Paige Smedley, of Honey Brook, was named to the President’s List.
President’s List students have achieved a GPA of 3.9 or higher for coursework completed at Cabrini with a minimum of 15 credits.
