State police are currently investigating a homicide situation in Oley Township. One man is reported dead and his father has been taken to the hospital.
On Tuesday around 2:30 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police of the Reading station received an emergency call from Limekiln Road, Oley. The caller reported that Jason S. Hirschorn, 37, arrived at the residence and was assaulting his father, Robert Hirschorn, 60.
Jason Hirschorn was pronounced dead at the scene and Robert Hirschorn was taken to Reading Hospital.
