The 20th anniversary Blue Ball Cruise Night benefits Garden Spot Fire Rescue.

“It’s a fun safe, free environment for the community to attend and help support their local volunteer fire company,” said Beth Coblentz, Administrative Assistant, Garden Spot Fire Rescue.

The fundraising event will be held at the Garden Spot Fire Rescue Engine House in the parking lot behind the station in Blue Ball at 4305 Division Highway, on Sept. 2 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Rain date is Sept. 3.

Garden Spot Fire Rescue covers fire services for New Holland and Blue Ball and parts of East Earl areas, as well as providing mutual aide to the Honey Brook and Morgantown areas.

The Cruise Night features a display of street rods, classics, customs, antiques, muscle cars and trucks.

20th Anniversary T-shirt will be given to the first 100. A featured car patch will be given to the first 275 registered and all receive a gift bag.

Door prizes include, but are not limited to, a Magellan 5 inch GPS navigator and integrated dashcam, a Toshiba 28 inch LED TV and a TOMTOM 5 inch GPS.

The event includes a DJ of 50s and 60s music.

To honor the event’s 20th anniversary there will be a bigger fireworks sisplay, which will be at 9 p.m.

Food is available for purchase from Garden Spot Fire Rescue and other vendors.

“It is perfect event for all ages and families. It is a free event to the public,” said Coblentz.
