Honey Brook Borough hosts its final concert of the summer on Sept. 11 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Honey Brook Park.

The Free Concert in the Park series concludes with the performance of the 74/75 Band.

“They play classic and contemporary rock covers and original tunes as well,” said Honey Brook Borough Park and Recreation Chair Jeanne Jenzano. “They are local musicians who play festivals, benefits, private affairs and are regulars at the Brandywine Hospital Strawberry Festival.”

The band includes Pete Duca on drums; Greg Krajewski, guitar and vocals; Bernie Tiger on bass guitar; Art Poof, vocals and percussion; and Lynn Verdone, keyboard, guitar and vocals.

Concert attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and picnics and enjoy the music in an outdoor setting. Honey Brook Lions Club will be providing food and beverages for purchase.

Honey Brook Borough will be collecting nonperishable food items for the Honey Brook Food Pantry.

In the case of the threat of inclement weather the concert will be cancelled and rescheduled. A recorded message will be placed on the Honey Brook Borough office phone line, 610-273-2020 by 1 p.m. the day of the show.
