Keystone Villa at Douglassville celebrated the annual Alzheimer’s Awareness Fun Day and Memory Walk on Saturday.

With more than 100 participants more than $2000 was donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.

“It was so great to see so many, residents, families and friends of the Villa”, said Diana Kramer, Executive Director.

Food, live entertainment, face painting and petting zoo were available following the 1.5 mile walk.

Special thanks to our sponsors: Health Calls, Vincenzo’s, Berks Packaging, Morabito, Redner’s Markets, Phoebe Pharmacy, A.J. Bolenski, Caring Hospice and the Wahl Street Band.

“We couldn’t have done it without our Daniel Boone High School student volunteers”, said Kathy Undercuffler, Activities Director. The JROTC supported the event by assisting veterans complete the walk.

Donations are still being accepted until Friday Sept. 16.
