Motorcyclist Bryan Adams, 39, Mohnton, was killed in a crash on Route 61 in Perry Township on Friday morning, Sept. 23.
State Police Hamburg report that at about 8:48 a.m., Adams was traveling northbound on Route 61 while Richard Fessler, 64, Tremont, was making a left turn into Glen Gery Brick from the southbound turning lane of Route 61. Adams’ motorcycle’s right rear tire impacted with Fessler’s trailing vehicle.
Adams was pronounced deceased at the scene. He was wearing a helmet.
State Police report that witness accounts indicate that Adams was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash.
State Police were assisted on scene by Shoemakersville Fire Department, Schuylkill Valley EMS and Berks County Coroner’s Office.
