New Bethel Church to share common heritage with visitors from Germany

New Bethel Church, Kempton, will host visitors from the Saxony-Anhalt region of Germany on Thursday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. A special program titled “Our Shared German Heritage” will emphasize the strong influence of the Pennsylvania Dutch in the lives of area residents and their communities.

The evening program will include Dutch humor by Bill Meck and Leroy Brown, Mennonite speaker James Weaver, musician Dave Kline of WEEU, and speaker Jon Bond. Traditional Pennsylvania Dutch treats will be served as refreshments following the program. The public is welcome. Admission is free.
