State Police Hamburg reported that a 16-year-old Fleetwood teen was driving south on Garman Road in Greenwich Township at 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 26 when a deer ran out in front of his 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee, causing him to lose control.

The vehicle exited the right side of the road, struck an embankment and a tree, then rolled coming to rest on all four tires.

According to the State Police report, the driver sustained suspected minor injury and was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital by Kutztown Ambulance. His passenger, a Blandon 16-year-old teen, sustained suspected minor injury but he was not transported to the hospital.

State Police were assisted at the scene by Virginville Fire Co.
