Montgomery County Community College and Tierra L. Dobry Foundation will co-sponsor a free Children’s Dental Sealant Program from 5:30 p.m.to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the College’s Dental Hygiene Clinic, Central Campus, Science Center 211, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell.

The sealant program is a community outreach effort during which free oral examinations and sealant placement will be provided for children ages 6-14. Space is limited, and examinations are by appointment only on a first-come, first-served basis. Appointments can be made by calling 215-641-6483.

A dental sealant is a clear, preventive coating placed on permanent back teeth in order to prevent dental decay. During the sealant programs, preventive services will be performed by licensed dental hygienists in consultation with licensed dentists.
