Fleetwood Girl Scout Brownie Troop 1956 recently visited Dance Dynamics Studio in Blandon.
Miss Debbie helped the troop earn their Dancer Badge by showing them how to warm up their bodies before dancing by doing neck rolls and lunges. She had a discussion about the many different styles of dance and the Girl Scouts learned about a famous ballet dancer, Misty Copeland.
Miss Debbie choreographed a dance routine for the girls to learn, to the sound “You Should Be Dancing”. The routine was a huge hit at Dance Dynamic’s annual dance recital last year.
The troop loved that Miss Debbie is lively and extremely energetic and a hands on instructor. The girls had some time to cut loose and dance some of their own moves while watching themselves in the wall mirrors around the studio.
The hour long session was exhausting but some of the girls had an opportunity to try something new and have fun while doing so.
