The holiday season is right around the corner. Unfortunately, many local families are unable to provide a Thanksgiving dinner for their family.

Boyertown Area Multi-Service provides assistance to help these families in need celebrate the holidays, but we can’t do it alone. In 2015, we were able to provide 162 complete Thanksgiving meals to client households.

To contribute to our Thanksgiving Meal Drive, we are in need of the following items: turkeys or turkey breasts, potatoes (instant or fresh), sweet potatoes (fresh or canned), stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, vegetables, fruits, bread/rolls/muffin mixes, pie filling and pie crust mixes. Any extras you wish to add are certainly welcome (i.e. butter, beverages, etc.).

All food donations can be dropped off between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning Tuesday, November 1. Donations made by Friday, November 18 will enable us to assemble the meals and distribute to the families prior to Thanksgiving. If you need to make arrangements to drop off food at other times, please call 610-367-6957. Your donation is vitally important to us and those we serve.
