Flying Colors Fine Artists will hold its annual art show Oct. 28, 29 and 30 at the Montgomery School, Route 113, in Chester Springs. An artists’ reception with live music and refreshments will be held on Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Hours on Saturday and Sunday are 10 to 5. All hours are open to the public free of charge. All paintings will be for sale. An art activity for children is planned for Saturday and Sunday as well as informal artist demonstrations.

Flying Colors is an organization of women painters who meet weekly at Fairview Presbyterian Church in Glenmoore to paint together and provide mutual support. This year, the group is celebrating 20 years of friendship and artistic growth. All members are professional artists working in watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, colored pencil or fiber art. Membership is open as space permits to qualified women working in fine arts.
