Long-time service to the Lions Club was recently recognized.

When Lions District 14-P District Governor Gustave Meyer III visited the Shartlesville Lions on his official visit recently, he handed out Certificates of Recognition to members who have individually served Lionism for decades with “selfless dedication, devotion and service in accord with the ideals, values and standards of Lionism.”

Recognized were John Messner, over 50 years; Jon Seitzinger, over 60 years; DG Meyer; Bob Argot, over 25 years; and Carl Berger, over 40 years. Also honored were Stanley Shauger, over 35 years; and Carey Riegel, over 25 years. Honorees are from Upper Bern, Shartlesville and Bethel Township.
