BIRDSBORO >> East or West side, Light the Night trick-or-treating fun for all.

Looking for a safe, fun, but not so scary place to go with your trick-or-treaters this Halloween? Churches on First Street in Birdsboro have outdoor festivities on both the West and the East sides of town.

St. Paul’s UCC, 300 W. 1st Street, at the Corner of First and Washington Streets will have yummy treats, games, prizes, and crafts at their Light the Night event Oct. 31 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. For double the treating then go on to Alice Focht Memorial UMC, at 422 E. 1st Street, on the corner of First and Hook Streets for more fun, music, food and candy. Focht’s will be holding their Light the Night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Light the Night provides a wholesome, safe, family oriented location for trick-or-treating. A place to show off costumes, go pumpkin bowling, win prizes playing games, make a craft and enjoy cider, pretzels, cotton candy, chocolate, fresh apples, hot dogs, and more. Everyone is welcome and it costs nothing.
