Fleetwood Area High School has announced the Students of the Month for October.
Kyle M. KeirsteadKyle is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Keirstead of Blandon. Kyle’s future plans include attending a four year college and focusing on a degree in Computer Science. Kyle has been involved in the following clubs at Fleetwood Area High School: Soccer, Tennis, Orchestra, String Ensemble, Science Olympiad, Artifacts, Relay for Life, Computer Club and Junior Achievement. Also, Kyle supports his community by dedicating his time as a volunteer to the Fleetwood Public Library. Kyle really admires Elon Musk. Kyle states that Elon is the embodiment of tireless ambition, has a vison for a better future and demonstrates that if you can dream it, you can do it.
Christina Jean RudderowChristina is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rudderow of Blandon. Christina’s future plans include obtaining a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene and then furthering her education to become a dentist. Christina has been involved in the following clubs/activities at Fleetwood Area High School: Tennis, manager of the Boy’s Tennis Team, Relay for Life, Basketball, Track, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, and HOSA Future Health Professional of which she currently holds position of President and local and state levels LEADERSHIP ROLES. Also, Christina has dedicated herself to the community by being actively involved in her church and service project through the high school. One person Christina really admires is her sister, Annamaria. Christina states her sister always is able to look at the whole picture and is an inspiration because she constantly goes out of her way to help others and never fails to make her smile
