A book sale – just in time for snuggling up with a good book, or giving them as gifts! There will be a used book sale at the Hamburg Public Library on November 9, 10 and 11 – right after Election Day, during regular library hours. It is open Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursday from noon to 8 p.m.

The Friends of the Library sort donated books all year long, to prepare for their big book sale in May. But this year they are offering some of them at this early mini-sale. These selections include all categories of books, and all are in like-new condition. The prices will be very low.

There are a lot of good children’s books, as well as cook books, special-edition books, some Bibles, history, biography, and a good selection of fiction by favorite authors. Also chosen for this sale are some on unusual topics, which might make great gifts for special people, and great winter reading.

Instead of the tens of thousands of books found at the annual May book sale, there will just be a few hundred books for this event, but they are all gems, and it won’t be hard to find some you like. They will be on display in the lobby of the library. All proceeds go to the Hamburg Public Library.
